The kids had a great time waking up to see what Santa left them on Christmas morning. Owen's favorite was a Nintendo DS and Ellie's was a tie between a baby carseat and a McDonalds play drive-thru. We were glad that everyone was able to come to our house for Christmas. Owen and Ellie had a great time playing with their cousin, Kallie, and Grandma Janet and Grandpa Randy.
We took the kids to sit on Santa's lap this year. Owen did great but Ellie was a bit unsure of him (which was shocking because I didn't think she was afraid of anything!). Ellie was, however, happy to tell Santa all about her Christmas wish list from the safety of Dad's lap!
Owen had his first sleep over last week. His friends Colin and Clayton spent the night while their parents went out of town. As usual, they spent most of their time together playing superheros. And of course, Ellie hung right in there with the big boys! And amazingly they were all asleep by 9:30!
